I wear these shorts for pretty much anything. They're durable enough that you can use them for manual work, and comfortable enough that they can be worn around the house for hanging out. They broke in readily (creases and cloth softened), which is something I like. something odd is that after about a week these miniscule thread "balls" began to appear on them. i'm assuming it's just normal wear because it doesn't seem to have affected the integrity of the material, but it is odd. - Travis
